CAUTION

DO NOT attempt to operate the mixer until the Safety, General Information and Inspection sections of this manual have been read and thoroughly understood.

This section is intended to assist the operator with the initial start-up of the mixer. It is extremely important that this section be read carefully before attempting to use the mixer in the field.

Starting the Engine (HONDA engine)

1.Place the engine fuel valve lever (Figure 11) to the “ON” position.

2.Move the throttle lever (Figure 12) away from the slow position, about 1/3 of the way toward the fast position.

4.Place the choke lever (Figure 14) in the “OPEN” position if starting a warm engine or the temperature is warm.

5.Place the engine ON/OFF switch (Figure 15) in the “ON” position.

6.Pull the Start/Stop Switch, located on the engine cover, outward to start the engine (Figure 16).

3.Place the choke lever (Figure 13) in the “CLOSED” position if starting a cold engine.
