14.4The charger will draw a small amount of current from the battery(ies), a few milliamps, when not charging or maintaining. If the battery(ies) are going to be stored for an extended period of time (several months) without being charged, it is best to disconnect the leads or remove the fuse to keep the charger from discharging the battery(ies) over time.

15.LIMITED WARRANTY

SCHUMACHER ELECTRIC CORPORATION, WARRANTS EXCLUSIVELY TO THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER THAT THIS CHARGER WILL BE REPAIRED OR REPLACED IF IT FAILS DURING ITS LIMITED WARRANTY PERIOD OF TWO YEARS FROM DATE OF RECEIPT DUE TO DEFECTS IN MATERIAL OR WORKMANSHIP. A DATED SALES RECEIPT OR PROOF OF PURCHASE IS REQUIRED FOR ALL CLAIMS.

This warranty does not cover failures arising out of improper use, abuse, maintenance or operation of the product. This warranty does not cover chargers that are opened or tampered with in any way.

Repair or replacement as provided under this warranty is the exclusive remedy of the consumer. Schumacher Electric shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages for breach of any express or implied warranty on this product. Except to the extent provided by applicable law, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose on this product is limited in duration to the warranty period.
