4.INSTRUCCIONES PARA CONECTAR EL CORDÓN DE POTENCIA CA

4.1El cargador tiene que ponerse a tierra para evitar el riesgo de choque eléctrico. El cargador viene equipado con un cordón eléctrico que posee conductor para puesto a tierra de equipos y un enchufe para puesto a tierra. El enchufe tiene que enchufarse en un tomacorriente debidamente instalado y puesto a tierra de acuerdo con todos los códigos y ordenanzas locales.

PELIGRO: NUNCA ALTERE EL CORDÓN O ENCHUFE CA ORIGINAL DEL CARGADOR. SI EL ENCHUFE NO ENTRA BIEN EN EL TOMACORRIENTE, HAGA QUE UN ELECTRICISTA CALIFICADO INSTALE UN TOMACORRIENTE APROPIADO. LA CONEXIÓN INCORRECTA PUEDE RESULTAR EN RIESGO DE CHOQUE ELÉCTRICO. DESCONECTE EL ENCHUFE DEL TOMACORRIENTE CUANDO EL CARGADOR NO ESTÁ EN USO.

4.2Este cargador es para usarse en un circuito nominal de 120 voltios y tiene un enchufe de puesto a tierra parecido al enchufe ilustrado en la

Figura A. Un adaptador temporal, que se parece al adaptador ilustrado en las Figuras B y C, puede usarse para conectar este enchufe en un receptáculo de dos polos tal como se ve en la Figura B, si no hay disponible un tomacorriente debidamente puesto a tierra. El adaptador temporal debe usar únicamente hasta que un tomacorriente debidamente puesto a tierra puede ser instalado por un electricista calificado.

UN TOMACORRIENTE DEBIDAMENTE PUESTO A TIERRA. ASEGÚRESE DE QUE SÍ ESTÉ PUESTO A TIERRA. AL SER NECESARIO, REEMPLACE EL TORNILLO ORIGINAL DE LA PLACA DE CUBIERTA DE SALIDA CON UN TORNILLO MÁS LARGO QUE HA DE ASEGURAR LA OREJA O EL LÓBULO DEL ADAPTADOR A LA PLACA DE CUBIERTA Y HACER LA CONEXIÓN A TIERRA AL TOMACORRIENTE PUESTO A TIERRA.
