10. In Name or address of host providing lpd, type in the printer

IP address that was assigned when the network interface card was

installed. In Name of printer on that machine, type in PORT1.

• You will not be able to select LPR Port unless the following two settings

are in effect in the Control Panel Network applet.

• Protocol: TCP/IP Protocol

• Services: TCP/IP Print

• If you have a problem selecting LPR Port, change these settings as

shown above.
