Durante 6 años hemos traba- jando en conjunto con Rainforest alliance, desarrollando nuestro Programa de Café Nespresso aaa sustainable QualityTM, y ahora estamos comprometidos a lograr que en el año 2013 el 80% de nuestro café provenga del Programa, Rainforest alliance CertifiedTM.

Hemos elegido el aluminio como material de embalaje de nuestras cápsulas, ya que protege el café y los aromas de nuestros Grands Crus Nespresso. El aluminio es un material infinitamente reciclable, que no pierde ningún aspecto de su calidad. actualmente estamos estableciendo un sistema de recuperación de cápsulas en los principales mercados europeos a fin de triplicar nuestra capacidad de reciclaje de cápsulas usadas y alcanzar el 75% en 2013.
