The simplest method is to ping the LAN IP address of another computer on the Ethernet LAN.
a. From a wireless PC, on the Windows taskbar click the Start button, then click Run.
b. Type ping -t 192.168.0.1 , and click OK.

c. This command causes a continuous ping to be sent. Between several seconds to two
minutes, the ping response should change from “timed out” to “reply.”
