Autofocus Mode

Select A(auto) mode Mdbutton MAutofocus mode Mkbutton

Select how the camera focuses when shooting still images.

Option	Description
ASingle AF	The camera focuses only when the shutter-release button is pressed
(default setting)	halfway.
	The camera continues focusing even when the shutter-release
BFull-time AF	button is not pressed halfway. The sound of lens drive movement is
	heard while the camera focuses.

C Autofocus Mode for Movie Recording

Autofocus mode for movie recording can be set with Autofocus mode (E68) in the movie menu.

Quick Effects

Select A(auto) mode Mdbutton MQuick effects Mkbutton

Option Description

In A(auto) mode, press the kbutton immediately after releasing

pOn (default setting) the shutter to display the effect selection screen and use the quick effects function (A45).

Off Disables the quick effects function (during shooting).
