White Balance (Adjusting Hue)

Rotate the mode dial to j, k, l, mor M Mdbutton Mj, k, l, m or M tab (A13) MWhite balance

Adjust white balance to suit the light source or weather conditions in order to make the colors in images match what you see with your eyes.

Use Auto (normal) under most conditions. Change the setting when you want to adjust the hue of the image you are taking.

* Fine adjustments in seven steps are available. Apply positive (+) to increase blue hue and negative (–) to increase red hue.

B Notes About White Balance

Lower the flash when white balance is set to any setting other than Auto (normal), Auto (warm lighting) or Flash (A60).

The setting may not be changed when using certain settings of other functions.
