Date

This option is used to set the camera clock.

This option is available after you have set the camera clock when using your camera for the first time. For more information on setting the camera clock, see "First Steps: Basic Setup" (Q 14).

The Setup Menu

Option		Description
Date	Set the date and time (Q 14).
	Select the time zone.
	The normal time zone setting is		(home time
	zone).			2003. 09.06 13:00
	If you select	(travel destination time zone),		London, Casablanca
				DaylightSaving
	the time difference is automatically calculated
				Tokyo, Seoul
	and the date and time in the selected region are			DaylightSaving
	displayed.

1 Press multi selector up or down to highlight or , then press center of multi selec-

	tor. The h icon is displayed. Selecting
	daylight saving time automatically advances
	the time one hour. To cancel daylight saving
	time, press center of multi selector again.

time zone (region), then press center of multi selector.

The Camera Clock

The camera clock is less accurate than most watches or household clocks. Check the clock regularly against more accurate timepieces and reset as necessary.
