•Sätt på både främre och bakre linsskyddet när objektivet förvaras i objektivväskan.

•Förvara objektivet på en sval, torr plats, när det inte kommer att användas under en längre period, för att förhindra mögel. Förvara också objektivet så att det inte utsätts för direkt solljus eller kemikalier som kamfer eller naftalin.

•Få inte vatten på objektivet eller tappa det i vatten eftersom detta kommer att orsaka rost och funktionsfel.

•Förstärkt plast används i vissa delar av objektivet. Lämna aldrig objektivet på en mycket varm plats, för att undvika skador.
