Select one of 99 focus areas in the

The camera focuses on the subject at the center of the frame. The center focus area is always displayed.

Focus area

sSubject tracking focus area will automatically move to

BNotes About AF Area Mode

When digital zoom is in effect, focus will be on the center of the screen regardless of the AF area mode setting.

Autofocus may not perform as expected (A29).

There are functions with which this setting cannot be enabled. See “Functions That Cannot Be Applied Simultaneously” (A62) for more information.
