Connecting to a Computer

This section describes how to connect the camera to a computer

using the supplied UC-E4 USB cable.

Once the camera is

connected, Nikon Transfer or optional Nikon software such as

Camera Control Pro 2 can be used to copy photographs to the

computer or control the camera remotely.

DConnecting Cables

Be sure the camera is off when connecting or disconnecting interface

cables.

Do not use force or attempt to insert the connectors at an angle.

ACamera Control Pro2

Camera Control Pro2 (available separately; pg. 368) can be used to control

the camera from a computer.

Before connecting the camera, set the

camera [USB] option (pg. 225) to [MTP/PTP].

When Camera Control Pro2

is running, “c” will be displayed in the control panel.
