DShoot night scenes

When the shutter-release button is pressed all the way, the camera captures a series of images which are combined into a single image and saved.

Once the shutter-release button is pressed all the way, hold the camera still until a still image is displayed. After taking a picture, do not turn the camera off before the monitor switches to the shooting screen.

The angle of view (i.e., the area visible in the frame) seen in the saved image is narrower than that seen in the monitor at the time of shooting.

The flash setting is fixed at yFlash off (A23).

YSmile timer is not available (A25).

HShoot close-ups

The camera automatically zooms to the closest position at which it can focus.

The flash is set to yFlash off, but the setting can be changed (A23).

YSmile timer is not available (A25).

XPhotograph food

The camera automatically zooms to the closest position at which it can focus.

Use the multi selector JKto adjust the hue setting and press flexible button 4 (O). The hue setting is saved in the camera’s memory even after the camera is turned off.

The flash setting is fixed at yFlash off (A23).

YSmile timer is not available (A25).

JShoot under water

When Shoot under water is set, the waterproofing-related messages are displayed. Confirm each message and press the multi selector Kto display the next message. Press flexible button 4 (O) to skip the messages and change to the shooting screen.
