cDelete
Delete selected pictures or all pictures.
Erase selected images
Delete selected pictures (A92).

Delete all pictures.
CNotes on Deletion
•Once deleted, pictures cannot be recovered. Transfer important images to a computer before deletion.
•Pictures marked with the sicon are protected and cannot be deleted.
CDeleting Picture Bank Images (For Users of the COOLPIX S52c)
Select the Picture Bank images option (48 of the Wireless LAN Connection Guide) from the Delete item in list by date menu to delete only those pictures, taken on the specified date, that have already been uploaded to the my Picturetown server.
dProtect
Protect selected pictures from accidental deletion (Selecting Pictures ➝ A92). Note, however, that formatting the camera’s internal memory or the memory card will permanently erase protected files (A107).
Protected pictures are recognized by the sicon (A7) or the aicon (A44) in playback mode.
