Taking a Closer Look: Playback Zoom

Pressing g (i) during full-frame playback mode (A 26) zooms the current picture in 3×, with the center of the picture displayed in the monitor.

The guide at lower right shows which portion of the picture is enlarged.

The following operations can be performed while pictures are zoomed in.

Pictures taken in Face Priority

 

 

When enlarging pictures taken in Face Priority (A 86),

 

 

pressing g in full-frame playback will enlarge the picture

 

 

using the face (which was focused on during shooting

 

 

time) as the centralized point.

 

 

If several faces are recognized, the picture will be

 

 

enlarged using the face (which was focused on during

×2.0

 

shooting time) as the centralized point, and pressing the rotary multi selector H, I, J or K will enable you to switch between the people's faces.

Pressing g (i) or f (h) will change the magnification ratio and return back to the normal enlargement rate.
