Print Date (Imprinting Date and Time)

Allows you to imprint the shooting date and time on |

images at the time of shooting. Because this feature |

imprints the shooting date and time permanently in |
| |
images, this feature also allows you to include the |
| |
shooting date and time when printing images, even if |
| |
your printer does not support the printing of dates on | 15.11.2011 | |
images (E44). |

The current print date setting is indicated by an icon when shooting (A6). No icon is displayed when Off is selected.
BNotes About Print Date•Imprinted dates form a permanent part of image data and cannot be deleted. The date and time cannot be imprinted on images after they have been captured.
•The date cannot be imprinted in the following situations:
-Images captured in Panorama assist scene mode
-Movies
•Dates imprinted at an Image mode setting (A63) of O640×480 may be difficult to read. Select an Image mode setting of N1024×768 or larger when using print date.
•The date is saved using the format selected in the setup menu’s Time zone and date item (A22, E55).
