Spülen Sie das Unterwassergehäuse unter klarem Wasser ab

Das Unterwassergehäuse sollte unbedingt direkt nach der Verwendung gereinigt werden. Reinigen Sie das Gehäuse in einem Gefäß mit frischem Was- ser (kein Meerwasser), bevor Sie das Gehäuse öffnen und die Kamera herausnehmen.

Wischen Sie das Gehäuse trocken

Trocknen Sie die Außenseite des Unterwassergehäu- ses sorgfältig mit einem weichen, trockenen Tuch ab.

Achten Sie darauf, dass auch der Verschluss, die Bedie- nelemente und der Trageriemen gut abgetrocknet sind.

Nehmen Sie die Kamera heraus

Nehmen Sie die Kamera aus dem Unterwasserge- häuse heraus und wischen Sie die Innenseite des Ge- häuses mit einem weichen, trockenen Tuch trocken.

Herausnehmen der Kamera

Öffnen Sie das Gehäuse niemals bei Sprühregen oder Nebel oder wenn sich Sand in der Luft befindet. Achten Sie beim Herausneh- men der Kamera darauf, dass Sie das Gehäuse nicht fallen lassen und dass kein Wasser aus Ihren Haaren oder von Ihrem Körper in das Gehäuse oder auf die Kamera tropft und dass keine sonstigen Partikel in das Gehäuse gelangen. Falls Wasser auf die Kamera tropfen sollte, müssen Sie die Kamera sofort abtrocknen.

Halten Sie das Unterwassergehäuse immer mit der Öffnung nach oben und legen Sie das geöffnete Unterwassergehäuse nicht mit der Dichtung oder dem O-Ring nach unten ab.

Legen Sie das Unterwassergehäuse in klares Wasser

Verschließen Sie das Unterwassergehäuse wieder und legen Sie es etwa zwei bis drei Stunden lang in ein Gefäß mit klarem Wasser. Bedienen Sie jedes der Bedienelemente mehrfach, damit sich das Salz löst. Sollte Salz auf den Bedienelementen antrocknen, kann dies die Funktionsfä- higkeit beeinträchtigen. Die Metallteile können durch Salz- ablagerungen rosten, was zu Undichtigkeit führen kann.
