2.1Before putting into operation
2.1.1 Assembly
The automatic cleaning machine must be assembled after removing from the package.
•Loosen knurled screw on handle. (Fig. 1/1)
•Swing handle upward and adjust angle. (Fig. 1/4)
•Loosen height lock (Fig. 1/3), move handle into operating position (Fig. 1/2), tighten lock. (Fig. 1/1 and 1/3)
2.1.2 Mounting brushes
•Remove tank cover. (Fig. 6)
•Take brushes out of dirty water tank.
•Lay back automatic cleaning machine onto handle.
•Push brushes (2x) into mount. (Fig. 11)
•Engage brushes by turning slightly.
•Stand up machine again.
•Position tank cover at front and engage by pressing lightly toward rear. Make sure that cover is properly mounted. (Fig. 2)
•CAUTION! Lay suction hose toward rear in fresh water tank. (Fig. 4/1)
2.1.5Filling fresh water tank
•Fill fresh water tank with water. (Fig. 3)
•Add cleaning agent as per dosing instructions.
•CAUTION! Tank may be filled with a maximum of 12 l of water including cleaning agent.
•We recommend using Alto cleaning agents. (Chap. 4.3)
CAUTION !
Use only
If foam develops in dirty water tank, add foam killer.
2.2Operation
The floor must be swept clean before starting work.
2.2.1 Brushing
•Raise suction nozzles (Fig.5 /3).
•Turn
Brushes rotate and machine can now be pushed forward easily.
•Pull hand switch (C); water is sprayed on.(Fig. 7)
2.2.2Vacuuming forward and backward
•Set ON/OFF switch (A) for suction turbine to ‘ON’ position (Fig. 7). Water is vacuumed off.
•Regulate vacuum power by turning ring on suction hose. (Fig. 8/3)
2.2.4 Connecting hand tool
•Disconnect suction hose from machine. (Fig. 8/1 or 12/1)
•Connect suction hose of hand tool to machine. (Fig. 12/2)
•Disconnect suction hose (Fig. 5/
1)from
•Connect spraying hose to quick- change coupling. (Fig. 12/3)
2.2.5Spraying and vacuuming with hand tool
•Set
•Pull hand switch on hand unit. (Fig. 12/4)
Water is sprayed on.
•Set ON/OFF switch (A) for suction turbine to ‘ON’ position (Fig. 7). To vacuum up water, move hand unit toward operator.
•Regulate vacuum power by turning ring on suction hose. (Fig. 8/3)
2.3Operation monitoring
2.1.3Connecting suction hoses
•Push connection hose of suction unit (Fig 8/1 and 8/2) onto connection piece (Fig. 3/3) on tank cover. (Fig. 8/5)
•Press drain plug into emptying opening. (Fig. 8/4)
•Engage spraying hose on back in
(Fig. 5/2)
2.1.4 Electrical connection
•Make sure that voltage indicated on rating plate of machine matches mains voltage.
•Connect mains plug to mains.
•Lower suction nozzle (Fig. 5/4).
•Turn
Brushes rotate.
•Set ON/OFF switch (A) for suction turbine to ‘ON’ position (Fig. 7). Water is vacuumed off.
•Regulate vacuum power by turning ring on suction hose. (Fig. 8/3)
2.2.3Brushing and vacuuming
•Lower suction nozzle (Fig. 5/4).
•Turn
•Pull hand switch (C), water is sprayed on.
To prevent damage to the floor or the machine, the brush may never run while dry.
When operating the machine, add sufficient cleaning liquid.
•Suction unit could be destroyed if tank is overfilled by penetrating water.
•To drain dirty water tank, switch off machine and disconnect from mains. Lift tank off automatic cleaning machine and pull off drain plug. (Fig. 8/4)
•To drain dirty water tank, pour out contents via housing corner.
