3Choose the ringing tone you want to replace—either an empty personal placeholder, if any are remaining, or a tone you’ve downloaded previously.

4Press Select.

The phone saves the new tone in the list of ringing tones. For instructions on changing the ringing tone on your phone, see “Set a vibrating alert” on page 64.

Discard received ringing tones

You can discard a ringing tone if you don’t want to save it.

Press Exit.

OR

Press Options, scroll to Discard, then press Select.

SET THE ALARM CLOCK

The alarm clock is based on the time settings in your phone’s clock. You can set the alarm clock to ring at any time, even if your phone is turned off.

If the alarm time is reached while the phone is switched off, the phone switches itself on and starts sounding the alarm tone. If you press Stop, the phone asks whether you want to activate the phone for calls. Press No to switch off the phone or Yes to make and receive calls.

Note: Do not press Yes when wireless phone use is prohibited or when it may cause interference or danger.

The alarm clock’s volume is determined by the phone’s current volume and tone settings.
