Turn your phone off when you're in any area that has a potentially explosive
atmosphere. Although it's rare, your phone and accessories could generate sparks.
Sparks can cause an explosion or fire, resulting in bodily injury or even death. These
areas are often, but not always, clearly marked. They include:
䢇Fueling areas such as gas stations.
䢇Below deck on boats.
䢇Fuel or chemical transfer or storage facilities.
䢇Areas where the air contains chemicals or particles such as grain, dust, or
metal powders.
䢇Any other area where you would normally be advised to turn off your
vehicle’s engine.
Water ResistanceYour phone is not water-resistant. Keep it dry.
Backup CopiesRemember to make back-up copies or keep a written record of all important
information stored in your phone.
Connecting to Other DevicesWhen connecting to any other device, read its user guide for detailed safety
instructions. Do not connect incompatible devices.
Accessories and BatteriesUse only approved accessories and batteries. Do not connect incompatible
products. Your phone and its accessories may contain small parts. Keep them out
of reach of small children.
Qualified ServiceOnly qualified personnel may install or repair this product.
Emergency CallsEnsure the phone is switched on and in service. Press as many times as
needed to clear the display and return to the main screen. Key in the emergency
number, then press . Give your location. Do not end the call until given
permission to do so.
Restricting Children’s Access to your Phone Your Sprint PCS Phone is not a toy. Children should not be allowed to play with it
because they could hurt themselves and others, damage the phone or make calls
that increase your phone bill.
Note: Never transport or store flammable gas, liquid, or explosives in the compartment of
your vehicle that contains your phone or accessories.
