Having verified the configuration of the above required information, access and initiate the registration process:

Step Action

1From the Main Menu, go to Settings > VoIP Settings > Registration .

2Choose Register to initiate the registration of the IP Phone 1535 on the MCS 5100.

After completion of the IP Phone 1535 registration process, it is normal to see an idle screen on the display. At the center of the idle screen, the telephone number assigned to the IP Phone 1535 appears, showing that registration is complete.

If registration fails, confirm that all configured system and VoIP parameters are correct, and initiate the registration process again.

After the initial registration of the IP Phone 1535 with your connected MCS 5100 server, you must repeat the registration process anytime you make configuration changes to the following:

Network Settings

Wireless Settings

The currently active network connection profile
