Making your portable secure

When your portable is not in use, you can lock its dialpad with your personal identifi cation number (PIN). When the portable is locked, the display shows q.

Entering a PIN for	1.	Press Ï, ’ or ”, Security: PIN, (enter a 1- to
the first time		6-digit PIN).
	2.	Press DONE, (enter new PIN again), DONE.
Changing a PIN	1.	Press Ï, ’ or ”, Security: PIN, (enter old
		PIN).
	2.	Press DONE, (enter a 1- to 6-digit PIN).
	3.	Press DONE, (enter new PIN again), DONE, ´.
Locking your	Press Ï, ’ or ”, select Security: ON, (enter
portable	PIN), DONE. (The display shows q.)
