Protect (Protecting Images Against Accidental
Erasure)
1Display the picture you want to protect by using the arrow pad.
2Press . The picture is now protected.
●To cancel protection, press again.
Single-Frame Erase
1Select a picture you wish to erase by using the arrow pad.
●If the picture is protected, cancel the protection.
2Press the (erase) button.
●The ERASE screen is displayed.
3Press Ñto select YES.
4Press to erase the picture.
●To cancel erasing, select NO in step 3 and press , or press the button
again.
All-Frame Erase
This function erases all still pictures and movies on the SmartMedia card,
except protected ones.
1In the top menu, select MODE MENU TCARD TCARD SETUP T
ALLERASE.
2Press .
●The ALLERASE screen is displayed.
3Press Ñto select YES.
4Press to start erasing.
●Abar is displayed to show the progress of erasing.
●To cancel erasing, select NO in step 3 and press .
●Pictures on a SmartMedia card with a write-protect seal cannot be erased.
●Once erased, pictures cannot be brought back.
