TIP

•The file names after division become

“File name_1” for the first half and “File name_2” for the latter half.

NOTE

•[File Divide] can be performed only when the file list is displayed.

•The recorder cannot divide files when the number of files in the folder exceeds 999.

•Locked files (☞ P.66) cannot be divided.

•It may not be possible to divide some MP3 or PCM files with extremely short recording times.

•To prevent the risk of data damage, never attempt to remove the battery during dividing a file.
