About OLYMPUS Audio Controller

The OLYMPUS Audio Controller application for smartphones is required to use your smartphone to operate the voice recorder from a distance.

How to obtain the application

Supported OS (as of November 2013)

•For Android™: Android 2.3.3 to 4.2

•For iOS: iOS 5.0 to iOS 6.0

Use the following method to obtain the application.

1Connect your smartphone to the network.

2Search for the application.

For AndroidTM:

Using “Google PlayTM (formerly called Android MarketTM)“, search for “OLYMPUS Audio Controller”.

For iOSTM:

Using “App Store SM”, search for “OLYMPUS Audio Controller”.

3Select “OLYMPUS Audio Controller” and download and install.

Installing the application on your smartphone allows you to:

Use [Wi-Fi] of the voice recorder to display the QR code (☞ P.74). If you use OLYMPUS Audio Controller installed in a smartphone to read the QR code, the SSID and password will be entered automatically.

Use your smartphone to operate the voice recorder:

Use the Wi-Fi function to operate the voice recorder (recording, playback) from a distance.

Create content files in which voice and images are synchronized:

You can create content files that automatically display captured images according to the elapsed time of the voice file.
