Olympus dr2000 Overwrite Recording, 2,3

You can overwrite a previous recording from any point within the file. Note that the overwritten recordings will be premanently erased.

	Make sure you are at the starting point
	1of the recording to be overwritten.
	Move the slide switch on the Directrec
2,3	2to the REC position or press the
	(Record) button in the [Remote Edit]
	window.
	The record/play indicator light on the Directrec

will light up and Overwrite Recording will start.

3Move the slide switch on the Directrec to the STOP position or press the (Stop) button in the [Remote Edit] window to stop overwriting.

Do not check here.

Notes

•Ensure that the “Insert recording” box (☞P.16) in the [Remote Edit] window is not checked or the overwrite recording will not proceed.

•You cannot select a different recording mode (SP, LP) than that of the original file before overwriting a recording.
