11. Using optional accessories
Important notes on using the optional rechargeable battery
•Charge the battery before using it for the first time. The battery is not charged at the time of shipment.
•Use the optional charger to charge the battery. The battery takes about 3 hours to charge fully.
•A fully charged battery can be used to operate the device for approximately 35 minutes, when used within the normal operating temperature range.
Note: Limit use to 20 minutes at a time, and allow a 40 minute interval before using the device again.
•Use the battery until the charge indicator on the main unit lights.
•The battery can be charged approximately 300 times. After 300 charges the operating capacity of the battery will be reduced to about half its normal capacity. We therefore recommend that you replace the rechargeable battery with a new one after 300 charges. (If the battery is charged once each day and is used for three sessions each day, the battery should last for approximately one year.)
•Always recharge the battery before using it again. Even if the battery has been fully charged after the previous use, its operating time can be reduced due to
