Super Audio CD Hybrid Disc Playback

You can select to play back the CD area or Super Audio CD area. Press the CD or SA-CD button on the player, or the SA-CD/CD button on the remote controller.

The indicator of the selected area illuminates.

Notes

-The 2-channel area of the Super Audio CD area is played back. The multi-channel area cannot be selected.

If a Super Audio CD only has multi-channel, then the left and right (L/R) channels are played back.

-The playback area cannot be switched for non-hybrid Super Audio CD discs. The indicator will flash during playback.

-The playback area cannot be switched during disc playback. The indicator will flash if an operation is made to switch the mode during playback.

MP3 and WMA Playback

Press the POWER button on the front of the unit to turn it on.

Notes

-When connecting an amplifier, you can reduce the impact on the speakers by first turning on the unit, then the amplifier.

-To turn off the unit, press the POWER button again.

If an amplifier is connected, first turn off the amplifier, then the unit.

-If there is already a disc in the unit, playback will begin.

Press the to open the disc tray.

Place discs in the tray printed-side up.

When using an 8-cm (3") CD, place it in the hollow inside the tray.
