Maintenance.
Replacing Disposable Odor Fighting Dust Bag
WARNING: Unplug cord from electrical outlet before servicing.
BAG REMOVAL:
6Unzip outer bag completely.
7Pull bag cardboard collar to release bag dock door from connector. Bag dock door will hinge downward.
8Gently pull bag cardboard collar upward out of the bag dock. Saniseal® dust seal will close automatically.
BAG INSTALLATION:
9Slide the cardboard collar completely onto bag dock door.
10Firmly push bag dock door with both thumbs on indication point until it snaps.

Replacing Worn Belt
WARNING: Unplug cord from electrical outlet before servicing.
11Remove the replacement belt from the storage channel.
12Remove the door by removing the hold down screw located on side of power head.
13Fold door away from the power head and lift it away.
14Remove the belt from the motor drive shaft and brushroll pulley.
15Loop the new belt over the brush roll pulley. Place the opposite end of the belt on the motor drive shaft.
13Replace the door by placing the bottom tab on door into slots located inside power head and pressing the door closed.
12Replace the hold down screw and tighten.

Adjusting or Replacing Brushroll
WARNING: Unplug cord from electrical outlet before servicing.
To determine if the brushroll is worn, place a firm straight edge across the nozzle opening. If brushroll bristles do not extend beyond baseplate, brushroll should be adjusted.
16Remove the baseplate by removing 5 screws. Then, remove the belt and brushroll from the housing.
17Rotate both bearing assemblies at ends or brushroll to show “OLD” and replace in the holding channels in the housing.
18Note: The bearing assembly setting market “OLD” has no ribs on the top of the assembly.
19The one marked “NEW” has several ribs. When rotating bearings, make sure both bearing assembly settings are the same and face up when replacing the brushroll.
15Reassemble the belt.
16Reassemble the baseplate.
