1.To turn on the Concertmate 970, set POWER/MODE to NORMAL. The POWER/MODE indicator lights.
Note: To save power, the key- board automatically turns off after about 6 minutes if you do not press a key. To turn the keyboard on again, set POWER/MODE to OFF then back to NORMAL. (To cancel the auto power off feature, see “Changing Auto Power Off” on Page 20.
2.Begin playing the keyboard.

•The Concertmate 970 automati- cally selects the sound PIANO (No. 00) when you turn the power on. To select a different sound, see “Using the Preset Sounds” on Page 12.
