Using the AF Trigger

Prefocus is a technique to focus on the point where the subject comes in advance, and it is used when taking a picture of the subject with quick motion.

This function is suitable when the distance between the camera and the subject is certain.

Preparation

• Set the mode dial except for [ ]/[ ]/[ ]/[ ]. (P29)

1 Select [AF TRIGGER] and set it to

When the subject is focused, the focus indication 1 lights up for 1 second.

Even when pressing the shutter button halfway, the focus will not be changed unless you press the [FOCUS] button again.
