Charging the Battery with the Charger
When the camera is shipped, the battery is
not charged. Charge the battery before
use.
1Attach the battery with attention
to the direction of the battery.
2Connect the charger to the
electrical outlet.
•When the [CHARGE] indicator A lights
in green, charging starts.
•When the [CHARGE] indicat or A turns
off (in about 130 minutes), charging is
completed.
3Detach the battery after charging
is completed.
•After charging is com pleted, be sure to
disconnect the charger from the electrical
outlet.
•The batter y becomes warm after use/
charge or during charge. The camera also
becomes warm during use. However, it is
not a malfunction.
•The battery is exhausted when it is left for
a long period of time after being charged.
Recharge the battery when it is
exhausted.
•Use the dedicated charger and battery.
•Charge the battery with the charger
indoors.
•Do not disassemble or modi fy the
charger.
