Using the Playback Zoom

When you rotate the zoom lever towards W after the picture is enlarged, the magnification becomes lower.

When you change the magnification, the zoom position indication A appears for about 1 second to check the position of the section enlarged.

When you press the [MENU] button, the magnification reverts to 1k.

To delete a picture during the playback zoom

Press the [] button.

When the confirmation screen appears, press 4 to select [YES], and press 1. (P49)

The more the picture is enlarged, the more its quality deteriorates.

The playback zoom may not operate if pictures have been recorded with other equipment.

Even if the indication on the LCD monitor are turned off in normal playback mode (P28), the magnification and enabled operations appear on the LCD monitor when the playback zoom is activated. You can switch whether you turn the indications on the LCD monitor on or off by pressing the [DISPLAY] button.

When you set the magnification to 1k, the indication on the LCD monitor are displayed as in normal playback mode.

Rotated pictures are displayed in the direction oriented when they are recorded. (P84)
