function
(ñ: Intelligent Auto Mode)
The camera will set the most app ro priate settings to match the subj e ct and the
recording conditions so we re commend this mode for beginne rs or those who
want to leave the s ettings to the ca mera and take pictures easily.
Set the mode dial to [ñ].
Hold this unit gently with both hands, keep your arms still
at your side and stand with your feet slightly apart.
Press the shutter button halfway to
focus.
•The focus indication 1 (green) lights when
the subject is focused.
•The AF area 2 is displa ye d around the
subject’s face with the Face Detectio n
function. In other cases, it is di sp layed at
the point on the subject which is in f oc us.
•The focus range is 1cm (0.04feet) (Wide)/
1 m (3.28feet) (Tele) to ¶.
Press the shutter button fully
(push it in further), and take the
picture.
