SELECT SET EXIT MENU

If the camera is not operated for about 15 seconds, the LCD monitor display turns off and power consumption is saved.

•When setting [ECONOMY] to [ON], the LCD monitor display is turned off while charging the flash.

•When setting [ECONOMY] to [ON], power save setting time is fixed to [2 MIN.].

[Preparation]

•Set the mode dial except for [ ]/[]. (P22)

1Press the [MENU] button.

2Press 1 to open the setup menu.

3Press 3/4 to select [ECONOMY].

4Press 1 to select [ON].

5Press the [MENU] button.

•The menu will disappear.

•The message [MONITOR OFF] flashes for a few seconds before LCD monitor display is turned off.

•The LCD monitor turns on when pressing any button.

•When using AC adaptor (optional, DMW-AC1)/recording the motion image, the economy mode is not available.

•The economy mode does not work when the menu screen is displayed or the self-timer is set.
