Setting the Aperture Value/the Shutter Speed

1 Press the rear dial to select the items to set.

Items that can be set will switch every time the rear dial

is pressed.

A: Program Shift (Recording mode: )

You can change the preset aperture value and shutter speed without changing the exposure.

To adjust the setting, display the aperture value and shutter speed by pressing the shutter button halfway.

B: Aperture Value (Recording mode: / )

Set the aperture value to a higher number when you want a sharp focus background. Set the aperture value to a lower number when you want a soft focus background.

C: Shutter Speed (Recording mode: /)

Set with a faster shutter speed when you want to take a sharp picture of a fast moving subject. Set to a slower shutter speed when you want to create a trail effect.

2 Rotate the rear dial to set.
