User-friendly Operation

The DP-8130’s user-friendly design incorporates a streamlined, touch-screen control panel with easy-to- use buttons. A convenient graphical guidance system takes users step-by-step through more complex copying tasks, while the oversized operation buttons ensure that users can easily operate all functions. Hollowed keys in the numeric keypad make it easy for anyone to recognize each number key.

Document Finishing Solutions

The DP-8130 offers an extensive array of professional document processing features and finishing options that can produce the types of documents typically produced by media centers. Trayless Duplexing is provided as standard for two-sided copying and printing tasks, while a Multi-Position Stapling Finisher option offers four different stapling positions. Other finishing options include saddle stitch capabilities to create center-stapled and folded booklets on either Letter or Ledger-size paper, as well as an optional Hole Punch unit that creates two or three-hole documents for binding or tablets.

Enhanced

Network

Connectivity

Versatile connectivity options transform the DP-8130 from a standalone digital copier to a fully networked document processing system with advanced functionality and high volume printing performance. The dedicated printer controller provides PCL6 Emulation and PostScript Emulation printing capabilities, along with the ability to scan-to-file, scan-to-email, scan-to-TWAIN and scan-to- Internet Fax. The DP-8130 also features concurrent scan and print capabilities, enabling users to scan documents without interrupting print jobs. A 20GB hard disk drive minimizes network traffic and improves printing performance by temporarily storing jobs while they await processing.

Energy-Efficient Design

The system’s Energy Saving Mode is automatically activated when the unit is left inactive for a certain period of time, or manually activated by simply pressing the Energy Save button. This cost saving feature

minimizes energy consumption by maintaining a low fuser temperature when the unit is in standby mode. The DP-8130 also has an Auto Shut Off/Sleep Mode, which automatically shuts off power when the unit has not been used for a specific period of time. Users can also program the unit to automatically start up or shut down at specific times each day by activating the Weekly Timer feature.
