≥Set [REC FORMAT] to [AVCHD].

*1 This option allows you to record in 1080/ 50p (1920k1080/50 progressive), which is the highest
picture quality for this unit.
*2 Recording will have higher quality in the order of [HA], [HG] and [HE].
≥Recordable time using the battery (l14)
≥This function’s default setting is [HG] mode.

≥When the unit is moved a lot or moved quickly, or when a fast-moving su bject is recorded
(Especially when recording in recording format [MP4] o r recording mode [HE]), mosaic-type noise
may appear at playback.
It is possible to continuously record motion picture to a n SD card when there is no space available
in the built-in memory. (It allows you to record only to SD card from built-in memory.)
≥Set [MEDIA SELECT] to [Built-inMemory].
≥Set [REC FORMAT] to [AVCHD].
≥Insert an SD card.
≥ is displayed on the screen. will disappear when space in the built-in memory is gone
and the recording to the SD card starts.
≥Relay Recording can only be performed once.
≥Combine the scenes that were relay-recorded u sing the [RELAY SCENE COMBINE] into
the SD card. (l69, 76)
≥Once you have performed [RELAY SCENE COMBINE], you can use the Relay Re cording
function again. If the [RELAY REC] is set to [ON] without performing the [RELAY SCENE
COMBINE], a message is displayed. You will be able to perform Relay Recording by selecting
[YES], but you will not be able to perform the [RELAY SCENE COMBINE] after tha t.
