The use of E-300 cassettes may cause problems if the recordings were takenat slow
tapespeeds (LP or EP).
Check the settings for PAL,MESECAM (page 22), NTSC (page 26).
Verifythat the aerial and/or scart cables are attached and work properly.
Check the SQPB setting for S-VHS cassettes (page22).
Faulty recordings takenat slow tape speed (EP) in MESECAM are not indicative of a
malfunction.
Please contactyour service technician if the video heads are dirty or worn out.
Having a technical service shop clean the video heads is not covered by the guarantee
