Using the Directory!

You can store up to 30 names and phone numbers in the directory. All directory items are sorted by the first word in alphabetical order. Using the directory, you can make a call by selecting a name on the display.

To store names and phone numbers in the directory

Make sure that the portable unit is in the standby mode.

To enter names and symbols

The dialling buttons can be used to enter letters and symbols. Pressing each button selects a character as shown below.

•If you make a mistake while entering a name, use (←) or # (→) to move the

cursor to the incorrect character, press to delete and enter the correct character. Each time you press , a character is erased from the right.
