This function detects skin tones and softens the focus in those areas, making complexions look
more attractive. Wrinkles and lines seem to disappear.
USB 2.0 compatibility gives you high-speed uploading of
DV data to a PC over a single USB cable. Video Class
compatibility allows real-time transfer of DV moving
picture data over the same USB cable. The included
MotionDV STUDIO 5.3 LE application makes it easy to edit
DV footage, so you can create your own polished,
professional-looking movies for keepsakes.
*Video Class is a standard format that allows the real-time
transfer of moving picture data over a USB cable.
With the camera connected via USB cable to a PC, start up Windows® Messenger
and the camera instantly turns into a web camera. Ideal for teleconferencing over
the Internet, or for surveillance camera use.

• Smart Wind Cut
The Pure Colour Engine LSI converts the CCD output signal
from a complementary colour signal into RGB signal
(containing the three primary colours in light) at an early stage
and extracts the low-frequency luminance component from the
RGB signal. The luminance signal is then generated in the
same way as in TV broadcasting. Advanced 3D Frame Noise
Reduction also gives you better results when shooting with low illumination because it
improves colour noise-reduction performance by 30% compared with conventional
systems. This innovative LSI achieves truly superb colour reproduction.

When illumination is insufficient, turn on the built-in LED video light to take crisp,
colourful movies. The LED (light emitting diode) has low power consumption, long
service life, and the safety of a low operating temperature. Colour Night View
gives you smoothly flowing pictures even in dark places, where it’s normally
difficult to capture good shots. And because the S.I.S. (Super Image Stabiliser)
corrects for hand-shake, you get beautiful pictures with minimal after images.
