≥When you use Windows XP, the other parties via the network have to use the Windows Messenger on Windows XP. When you use other than Windows XP, the other parties via the network have to use the MSN Messenger on an OS other than Windows XP.

≥If the USB Connection Cable is disconnected from the personal computer, the WEB CAMERA mode is cancelled.

≥In the Camcorder is used Web Camera, video cannot be recorded onto a tape.

ªSetting up the Windows Messenger

When starting the Windows Messenger for the first time, its setup screen is displayed. (However, the screen is not displayed if the Windows Messenger setup has already been done.) For more details, please read the corresponding Help file.

1 Click [Click here to sign in].2Select [.NET Messaging Service] and click [OK].3Click [Next] when the [.NET Passport Wizard] dialog appears.

4Please carefully read the displayed contents and then proceed.

5After the setup is completed, sign in and start the Windows Messenger.

6Click on [Audio Tuning Wizard...] in the [Tools] menu to confirm that equipment is connected correctly.

7Select [USB Video Device] in the [Camera] menu.

≥When access is finished, close Windows Messenger, then turn off the Camcorder. Finally, disconnect the USB Cable.

ªSetting up the MSN Messenger

When starting the MSN Messenger for the first time, its setup screen is displayed. (However, the screen is not displayed if the MSN Messenger setup has already been done.) For more details, please read the corresponding Help file.

1 Click [Sign In].2Type in your Sign-in name and password.

≥If you do not have your Sign-in name and password, click [Get one here]

3Please carefully read the displayed contents and then proceed.

4After the setup is completed, sign in and start the MSN Messenger.

5Click on [Audio Tuning Wizard...] in the [Tools] menu to confirm that equipment is connected correctly.

6Click [Web Camera Settings...] in the [Tools] menu.7Confirm the [Panasonic DVC Web Camera Device] is selected.

≥For other information about MSN Messenger, please refer to Help.

≥When access is finished, close MSN Messenger, then turn off the Camcorder. Finally, disconnect the USB Cable.
