AV Colour System Selects optional colour system based on video signals in AV mode
(Auto / PAL / SECAM / NTSC4.43 / NTSC3.58)
Colour Matrix
Available only with 480p or 576p input signals in a natural colour from digital equipment
connected to AV1 / AV2 Component or HDMI1 / HDMI2 / HDMI3 terminals
Select SD or HD to adjust suitable colour parameters for SD (standard definition) or HD
(high definition)
SD: Input signal is a normal TV system
HD: Input signal is a High-De nition system
Service List Edit Skips the unwanted programmes or edits programmes (p. 25)
Child Lock Locks a programme / AV input to prevent access to it (p. 28)

Creation
Automatically compensates the picture frame rate to make the image smooth (Off / On)

OSD Language Changes language for on-screen displays

Teletext Character Set
Select teletext language (English / CIS / E.Europe / Persian)
Shipping Condition Resets all settings, for example, when moving house (p. 29)
Power Save Reduces brightness of picture to economise on power consumption (Off / On)
Side Panel Increases the brightness of the side panel (Off / Low / Mid / High)
The recommended setting is “High” to prevent panel “image retention”
Picture Overscan
Selects the screen area displaying the image (Off / On)
On : Enlarged the image to hide the edge of the image.
Off : Displayed the image in the original size.
Set to “On” if noise is generated on the edge of the screen.
This function is available when aspect is set to 16:9.
This function can be memorized separately for SD (Standard de nition) and HD (High
de nition) signals.

Banner Display
Timeout
Sets how long the information banner (p. 15) stays on screen
0 (No display) to 10 sec. in 1-sec. increments
VIERA Link Settings
