Connecting a Standard VCR to the AV Input
Most standard Video Cassette Recorders use RCA type video and audio connectors. If your VCR has different type connectors please refer to the VCR instruction book for details. VCRs can be connected to any of the AV inputs but we recommend that you use AV5 leaving the other inputs free for

Monitor Out
The Monitor Out terminals reproduce the signals currently on the television screen. The
The Monitor Out facility can be used to allow one video source (videotape, video disc etc.) to be connected to more than one television. Connect the Monitor out from this television to the AV Input of the second television.
If a video recorder is connected to the Monitor Out and video sources (VCR, video disc, camera etc.) are connected to one of the AV Inputs, the television becomes a visual display for editing copying. *

Never connect the same video recorder or other device to both the VIDEO IN and MONITOR OUT terminals of this television as this could cause incorrect operation.
