transparently (unmodified) through the VLINK modems. The VLINK modems automatically add and delete MAC addresses, only passing packets across the VDSL link that are meant for the remote peered LAN.

The VLINK/CO modem and VLINK/CP modem work together to create a transparent extension between two peered Ethernet LANs. POTS/ISDN calls can be made over a VDSL link without interfering with the data.
