IIILap/shoulder belt with a locking latch plate

If you have a lap/shoulder belt with a locking latch plate and the belt comes loose after buckling, unbuckle it, flip it over, and re-buckle. This will usually keep the seat belt locked

in place. If not, read your vehicle manual for specific instructions.

IV Different Types of Lap Belts Lap belts with Emergency Locking Retractors (ELR), Automatic Locking Retractors (ALR), and Switching Locking Retractors (SLR) look as shown. Consult your vehicle owner's manual to determine which style you have. Lap belts with locking latch plates look as shown.

VLap belt only with an Emergency Locking Retractor

If you have a lap belt (without shoulder strap) that locks only in an emergency (ELR), do not use it to secure the Primo Viaggio Sip 30•30 car seat. Please consult a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician for other installation options.
