MYLEX ALERT MANAGER
NOTE: The Mylex Alert Manager is not available on the IDE-compatible recorders.
The Mylex Alert Manager sends an alert to DX9000 viewstations whenever there is a problem. The Workstation Array
Manager application should be running in the background all the time. For example, if a hard disk drive storage unit fails, the
application appears onscreen.
To create a server alert file:
1. Click My Computer from your desktop.
2. Click Local Disk (C:).
3. Click Program Files.
4. Click Mylex.
5. Click the Workstation Array Manager folder.

6. Go to File > New > Text Document.
7. Name the new text file Server Alert.
