CONFIGURING E-MAIL ALERT FOR AN INTERNAL RAID NVR300
NOTE: The following information applies to NVR300 internal RAID models only; and not to non-RAID models.
If a hard disk drive fails or a communication error occurs within an internal RAID configuration, the NVR300 has three types of notification to alert
you of the failure or problem:
1. If an e-mail server is configured, an e-mail containing a text message describing the error is sent to the designated e-mail address.
2. A pop-up message box indicating the error appears on the monitor connected locally to the NVR300.
3. Errors and notifications are recorded to a log file. The log file is available for viewing when needed. The log file can be accessed by double-
clicking My Computer>Local Disk (C:)>Program Files>Pelco>Email Alert>ChkArray.log.
