How to use the Quick-Shift Focus System
1.Using Autofocus
Set the focus mode switch to autofocus, then press the shutter release button halfway to
autofocus. |

2.Hold down the shutter release button halfway (or hold down the AF button or OK button), then turn the focusing ring to finely adjust focus.
3.Finally, press the shutter release button fully to take a picture.
The focusing ring on some lenses may rotate during autofocus.
•Do not touch the focusing ring while autofocus is operating as it may cause a malfunction. For more information see “CAUTION” on page 16.
