Setting the Shutter Speed (Shutter Priority Mode)

In this mode the shutter speed is set manually and the camera automatically sets the aperture value.

Pictures Taking

zSet the mode dial to .

xUse the four-way controller () to

change the shutter speed.

Increases the shutter speed.  Reduces the shutter speed.

cPress the shutter release button. The picture will be taken.

Shutter speed

The set shutter speed will be saved when the camera is turned memo off.

Caution • When the focus mode is set to manual, the four-way controller () becomes the manual focus button and cannot

be used to change the shutter speed. To change the shutter speed, press the OK button once and then use the four-way controller () to change the value.

•The exposure is not appropriate when the aperture value is displayed in orange on the LCD monitor.
